Baneocin is a combined antibacterial medicine which is intended for external use. Bacitracin works by stopping or preventing bacterial infections by either killing susceptible bacteria or inhibiting their growth. Neomycin on the other hand is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It kills sensitive bacteria by stopping the production of essential proteins needed by the bacteria to survive.
